Since then I’ve milled more than 30 lbs of grain with it. It works very well and Mills a variety of grain from course to very fine. I’ve milled flour with milk mine several times and the flour works great in fine pastries.
I've waited a LOOOOONG time to pull the trigger on a grain grinder. Glad I waited. This takes about 8 to 10 minutes for me to grind a pound of flour at the #2 setting on the mixer. I get Rye flour that I think is a better grind that the Hodgkins Mills flour I bought before. The Whole flour is good as well.

I have used this mill now several times to mill hard white and hard red ; it has worked flawlessly in my Artisan 5-qt Kitchen Aid mixer. The flour that I have milled seems to be just as fine as the professionally milled flour
