TIP #1: Starting in Minecraft Java Edition (PC/Mac) 1.13, the /entitydata command was replaced by the /data command to show/hide arms on an armor stand. TIP #2: Although you can summon an armor stand in PE and Windows 10, you can not yet customize it with game commands yet. Sep 23, 2016 Placing the fence down, then summoning the armor stands in the same block space. That way the fence is covered up by the block on the armor stand's head. If you do this with armor stands without arms. and summon around 40 or so armor stands in the same spot. It will appear as a tire on an axle. (pretty cool stuff)

I wanted to create an armor stand for each kit in my mini-game, and I quickly became frustrated with trying to use commands and numeric values to position the legs, arms, body and head of each armor stand, so I created this plugin which allows you to do all of this with ease.
The only flaw this has is that using entitydata to replace tags can mess up other systems that use tags. I recommend using two command blocks, one running entitydata @e[type=armor_stand,tag=!arms] {ShowArms:1b}, and the other running scoreboard players tag @e[type=armor_stand] add arms {ShowArms:1b} to avoid messing up any other systems that add tags to armor stands.

Apr 08, 2020 No Gravity means that the armor stand will no longer fall. When you do spawn in a no gravity armor stand, the stand will spawn half a block higher than the base of the command block. Show Arms shows the armor stands hidden arms. I applaud the person who discovered this! Small makes your armor stand about the size of a zombie.
Expansion packs are able to add more commands to 1.9 Better Armour Stands books to increase the functionality of the book. The only current expansion pack is the Poses Pack. 1.8 Version Edit. Arms can be added to any placed armour stand by throwing two sticks stacked together at its feet. This will consume the sticks and give the armour stand arms.

I guess the only solution at the moment would be to name the command executing armor stands with a 31 character name, since there is a nametag renaming character limit of 30.
